Hi, I am sorry I m writing in English in this forum, unfortunatley I do not understand German Language, I am reading your posts through google translation.
Please I need some help, I have a daughter who is 18+ years old and she has a lumper scoliosis of 28 Degrees, I am looking for a good German clinic to evaluate her condition and advice me what I can do for her.
Please if you have any suggestion let me know, I am mostly interested in knowing if Schroth method can help her at this age.
Can you please recommend a good clinic with english speaking staff to evaluate her condition.

Hello salimslingo,

there are two good clinics in Germany, in "Bad Sobernheim" and in "Bad Salzungen".

Dr. Steffan is doctor of these clinics and writes in this forum, too. You can send him a PN: DrSteffan

I don't know, if there is English speaking staff, but some patients aren't from Germany and can be accompanied by a mentor. (I don't know, if you can unterstand me, because I don't write English very well...)

In this forum there is an English area, too: viewforum.php?f=19

Hi salimslingo,

Where do you come from? In Germany are two clinics specialized in the Schroth-method (Bad Sobernheim and Bad Salzungen). I know that sometimes patients from foreign countries are in Bad Sobernheim. The last time I was there, there was someone from Canada.
I think the English language may not be a problem.

Further Schroth-Clinics can be found in England http://www.scoliosissos.com/ and Spain http://www.rigoquerasalva.com/

In the US you have the possibility of out-patient Schroth-therapy, for example http://scoliosis3dc.com/ or http://www.scoliosissystems.com/Schroth_Exercises/
Please if you have any suggestion let me know, I am mostly interested in knowing if Schroth method can help her at this age.
I think Schroth may help your daughter to treat her scoliosis in regard of pain and further progression, derotation or even getting a little straighter, but this depends on some factors, e.g. the flexibility of her spine. If her curvature progressed during the last few month, Schroth may not be enough and an additionaly brace could be necessary.

I´m looking forward to hear from you again. :ja:

Best wishes,
Minimine

You can find it here: http://www.skoliose.com. You can also write a PM or Email to Dr. Steffan, but I don´t know if he is available at the moment, all I know is that currently he´s on vacation.

Best wishes,
Minimine
