Hi salimslingo,

Bad Sobernheim is only 100km away from Frankfurt. If you have a look at our linklist, you'll also find:
Orthopädische Uniklinik Friedrichsheim, Frankfurt - http://www.orthopaedische-uniklinik.de/225.html
Wirbelsäulenorthopädie/Skoliosesprechstunde, Oberarzt PD Dr. med. Florian Geiger

Their you can get a capable diagnostic, but they don't offer conservative treatment. Dr. Geiger is surgeon.

Best wishes,
sloopy

Hi salimslingo,

for small curvatures I recommend the university hospital in Frankfurt, but I wouldn´t go to him if you need an advice if your daughter should do surgery or not. Such clinics almost always prefer surgery, even if conservative treatment is possible.

I would prefer the clinic in Bad Sobernheim or Dr. Hoffmann in Leonberg/Stuttgart. Both aren´t too far away from Frankfurt.

Best wishes
Minimine

Hello,
thank you for the recomendation, but it is not true that we dont do conservative treatment.
I treat about 90% of the patients I see conservatively. Usually with braces. Right now Bad Sobernheim makes the same braces that we have (Sanomed / Weitner), so this would not make a difference.
We only do not offer physiotherapy. Therefore we send our patients to Bad Sobernheim, just like they send us patients for surgery if curvature exceeds 50°.
Best regards
F. Geiger

If treatment is of a higher degree or untypical type of curvature I would personally prefer cctec over Sanomed/Geiger. They make good braces up to a certain point but in my experience as well as from contact to many fellow brace carriers cctec has had better results with more diffcult cases. If surgery is already in discussion I would not take any risks and get a cctec. In Bad Sobernheim you can also get cctec braces upon request.
