Hello everybody,

I have taken an photo of my scoliosis and I wanted to know what are my option? I have every day headache and my face and body is assymetric. Here in Holland they say they can do not hing for me only therapie or the pain. Can someren please help me. And I want to know if it is severe what I have. I dont know my degree not hing. Only that it is thorocal and cervix. And is it possible to be straight ever again?

Have you seen a specialist?
Maybe you can see a different one and ask them this questions.
How old are you?
Don't become desperate, there are many options to reduce your pain.

At first: There is an areal here in this forum for english speaking people. You could browse it and hopefully get some more informations about your opportunities in the nederlands.

One thing i know for sure. You want to visit a specialist for skoliosis !
A correct diagnosis is the base for a helpfully therapy.

I am kyphosis patient, so I'm not well informed about skoliosis. But I'm pretty sure, a specialist will get an overview about your whole body-situation.

Here in Holland they say they can do not hing for me only therapie or the pain.

Even in germany we have a lot of doctors with no real clue about skoliosis and the possibilitys to help it. But that does'nt mean there are none.

The greatest weapons which I know are
1. A reclination orthesis.
To "bend" your backbone to the correct direction
and
2. Rehab by Schroth (founder is Katharina Schroth).

I don't know what exactly you mean with severe.
It's severe enough to pay attention but not enough to become frustrated.

And is it possible to be straight ever again?

Possible ? Yes !
Guaranteed ? No !
A specialized orthopedist can give you a first assessment about how far it is possible. But at the end the therapy will show it.
As younger you are, so better the chances.
...which doesn't mean grown up people are lost, tho.
